Well, six weeks have flown by in the blink of an eye, and it was a close call but I finished in time! I am so excited to share the coffee bar reveal with you. The One Room Challenge is always a whirlwind, but who would have thought that such a tiny little space would be so much work? This project was so much more work than my master bedroom makeover which I shared for the last One Room Challenge, and that’s one of the largest rooms in our house! But I’m thrilled to have this space finished, as it’s one we’ve had on our to do list since we moved into our home nearly 3 years ago. I challenged myself big time with this one, and learned new skills along the way. (More on that later!) Today, I’ll let the pictures do the talking while sharing sources as I go, and you can shop the entire space at the bottom of this post. I’ll follow up in the coming weeks with individual posts featuring the projects I did for the room, along with sharing what I learned. (This post contains affiliate links.)
You can catch up on the last 6 weeks here:

First, let’s take a look at what this space looked like BEFORE. It was an 80s wet bar/butler’s pantry area connected to our family room.
Ok, let’s be real. 99% of the past couple of years, it’s looked like this. It became our “catch all” storage closet.

But now, it looks like THIS!
One risk I took in this space was tiling for the first time ever! I tiled the entire wall behind the sink with White Carrara honed marble subway tiles.
Since this is the closest thing that Chris has to a “man cave” in the house, he chose the artwork. But I’m sure you would’ve figured that out… Also, big thanks to him for installing the light, sink, and faucet!
Star Wars Art | Rug | Light Fixture | Mirror | Cabinet Hardware
The rug is a vintage Persian hand woven carpet.
I built the shelves and spray painted these brackets gold. (I’ll share more on these soon.)
The room is so tiny and hard to photograph! Shooting into the mirror helped capture more of the space in the shot. It also gets zero natural light, so this was a challenge.
I am absolutely in love with our new Delta Trinsic bar prep faucet in Champagne Bronze. I’ll share more about it soon too.
Here’s another mirror shot.
You can’t have a coffee bar without some sweet treats!
Chris drinks pour overs every morning, so we don’t really use a coffee maker. We do have a Keurig for when guests visit, so we’ve opted to store it in the cabinets below and we will get it out whenever we have visitors.
Glass Mugs | Gold Spoons | Book | Dish Towel
I can’t say enough how much I love our light fixture from Lucent Lightshop. We love Mid Century style lighting, and they have an amazing selection and can create custom artisan pieces too.
Huge thanks to my One Room Challenge sponsors who provided items for the room: Lucent Lightshop and Delta Faucet.
