Holiday Decor in the Dining Room

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of At Home for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I recently took a trip to At Home to check out their holiday decor, and oh my goodness was I amazed! It was huge, and they had holiday decor as far as the eye could see. I picked up a few things to give our dining room an early holiday makeover, and wanted to give you an idea of what types of things you can find there. Aside from At Home Christmas Decor, you could decorate your entire house with things from their store, because they have items for every single room. Plus, with their everyday low prices, everything is super affordable. Here’s a look at our dining room after a little “At Home” makeover.

Although I was focusing on things for our dining room, it was hard to ignore the fact that I could easily deck out my entire house in all of the festive goodies I saw there. They have a huge selection of both indoor and outdoor holiday decor. I was like a kid in a candy store, no joke. They had a huge selection of Christmas Trees, (101 varieties, to be exact) in their Tree for Me section, and decor available in 15 different themes.

I selected some glittery gold place mats which complemented our existing plaid tablecloth, and since there are only 4 of us who will be sitting at the table (Jonah’s still in the high chair), I opted to just set 4 spots and leave the end chairs empty. The place mats will pair perfectly with some pretty red ones that my husband’s grandmother got us for Christmas last year, so I can use those at the ends whenever we have guests since I only bought 4 glittery ones. I also love the cute set of dessert plates I found, each with a different holiday-themed design.

I bought a strand of garland which I used as table decor. Greenery is a must for the holidays!

These cute glitter ball ornaments serve as the perfect filler for my little gold bowl. I have enough left over to add some of them to the boys’ small Christmas tree when we put it up. (Bonus: They’re shatterproof! A must in this house.)

I also found this stag pillow, which may end up in the entryway, but for now it adds a nice touch to the dining room.

I found a pretty sequin stag table runner which I absolutely love! I haven’t decided if it will stay in here or also end up on the nearby entryway table. Since it wasn’t long enough to run the length of our dining room table, I decided to lay it across the middle instead.

Our dining room is almost holiday-ready! After Thanksgiving I’ll get started on the rest of the house.

I can’t wait to head back to At Home soon — I could spend all day in there just looking around. It’s probably best for my bank account if I limit my visits, but they are the perfect source to check out whenever I’m working on a room makeover or seasonal decorating.

I’d love to know, which of the 15 holiday themes would you choose? Or would you mix and match? Let me know in the comments!
