I am beyond excited about today’s post! I’m teaming up with some of my favorite bloggers along with Home Decorators Collection, to bring you lots of holiday decorating inspiration, plus the chance to win one of two $250 Home Decorators Collection gift cards! (Check out the giveaway at the end of this post, as well as the holiday home tour lineup!) I’ve been a busy bee the past few days getting our house holiday-ready for you, and while we did have a bit of a mishap with our kid’s tree (it finally bit the dust and we just replaced it, so I’ll show you that soon), the rest of the house is ready for Christmas! Home Decorators Collection generously allowed each of the participating bloggers to choose items to include in our tour, so I’ll be sharing my picks throughout this post. Let’s get started!
Our “main” Christmas tree is located in my mom cave (aka front living room/office). This is where we open all of our presents on Christmas morning, and it’s the tree that people can see through the window when passing by on the street.
I can’t even tell you the lighting struggles I had with this tree since it isn’t pre-lit! Everytime I had the lights on, a random strand would go out. I replaced them 4 times and finally said forget it. It’s not perfect but it’ll do! Some dollar store faux magnolia flowers and my paper feathers, combined with silver and gold shatterproof ball ornaments allowed me to decorate this tree on a budget.
I always love styling this little vignette in my “mom cave.” Most of the key pieces stay the same and I just change it up slightly for the seasons.
I love this cute octagonal trophy bowl from Home Decorators Collection. I tossed some red ball ornaments in it for now, but I could definitely use it all year round. The wooden box was an antique market find a few years ago.
I still enjoy lounging on my Home Decorators Collection Lakewood Sofa in this room too.
I snatched up this cozy cable knit pillow from Home Decorators Collection.
I tossed a large poinsettia plant inside an inexpensive basket for some added texture and I’ve been moving it around the house trying to find the perfect spot for it.
You already saw our sunroom Christmas tree:
I picked up this pretty vintage-inspired jeweled snowflake ornament from Home Decorators Collection.
I also got this beautiful vintage-inspired faux crystal garland which is on our sunroom tree.
When I was back home in Indiana over Thanksgiving, my grandma gave me this vintage gumball machine. I remember it from when I was a kid, so I was really excited to incorporate it into our holiday decor.
It’s sitting on top of the card catalog that my grandparents “rescued” for me.
I always enjoy decking out our entryway for the holidays.
I found 20 ft. of fresh garland for $6.99 and fresh boxwood wreaths for $9.99 at Trader Joe’s, so go snatch some up if you live near one! I also ordered this preserved boxwood wreath from Home Decorators Collection but it is on back order.

I made simple book covers out of gift wrap for our entryway table. I did something similar last year but with different paper. (You can see last year’s entryway here, and last year’s Christmas tour here.)
I love the Home Decorators Collection Sole Mirror so much that I bought it twice! We also have one in Jonah’s nursery.
