I can hardly wait to show you the family room now that it’s basically done (a room is never really done though, is it?). I’ll be sharing the room reveal within the next few days, but first I wanted to pop in and share a sneak peek as well as one of my favorite pieces in the room.
This little reading nook area is a cozy spot to hang out, and I am in love with the feather art hanging on the wall. I found the art at a little boutique in Charlotte, NC, and we had it framed by Framebridge. I chose my very favorite, the Mandalay frame, which I also used in our master bedroom makeover. I love the bamboo look of it, and this time I went larger scale and also had the print float mounted since it’s printed on parchment and I really wanted to show off the raw edges.
If you’re not familiar with Framebridge, it’s an online custom framing service and they have gorgeous frames to choose from. The entire process is so easy. You can either upload your photo or artwork, or mail it in and have it framed. You can also upload Instagram photos and have those framed, which is what I did last time. Since I mailed my artwork in this time, I did the ordering online and then they mailed me a tube with instructions and a shipping label to send the print to them. Then, they framed it and shipped it back to me quickly, and they did an amazing job.
